What’s wrong baby?!

I dreamt of the police…

Dreamt of them?!

Okay there was a whole bunch of other stuff that happened earlier in the dream. I offered to drive a coworker, give them a lift home. But we needed to go to the toilets first. As the coworker was in the toilet a group of young officers in training showed up.

Then one approached me and gave me a form to fill out. Like “we need your details”

Does that actually happen in real life?!

I don’t think so. It was a bizarre dream scenario.

I started filling out the form. Then in the dream I was like. “Wait — don’t you just need my driver’s licence and do a breathalyser test?!” And in the dream I was very aware — the earlier events of the dream — I hadn’t had any alcohol! So I felt very confident about it. I even said “I’m 40 years old!”

Then there were other people around ans they were all reacting “she’s 40?!?!?!!”

And the young officer was like, “ugh. Okay. Let me see your driver’s licence” and I got it out and showed him.

And there was like a oh yeah… she’s really 40…

And then I woke up.

Wow… what happened earlier in the dream?

I was at a dinner…

There was coworkers, old high school acquaintances… different friend groups…

There was one acquaintance in particular I was having a whole conversation with.

It’s weird though because we don’t really talk in real life. I mean, I have her Facebook and instagram but we just don’t really talk or catch up. You get what I mean?

Yeah… why do you think you dreamt of her? Do you want to catch up in real life?

Not really…?

If she walks into my store I’m happy to start having a chat, other than that — don’t really feel the need to…

But in the dream?

In the dream… there was a shared understanding… about how hard some friendships can get sometimes.

We have mutual acquaintances and in the dream we were talking about the whole context of those connections.

It was very random.

I think my subconscious was processing something else by the time the police showed up.

He was outside the toilets as well while that coworker was going to the toilet. Actually I NEED to go to the toilet. Like my body now. Needs to get out of bed and go to the toilet!!!
