Turns out. New desk is great with any of the chairs I already have at home. So a gaming chair isn’t as urgent.

I think the next thing for me is a new screen.

No… I’m not spending that kind of money yet.

We’ve got a new TV. But that’s Mum’s new TV. Not mine.

This is the first piece of furniture I got for myself since moving BACK.

All my “nice” furniture that I used to have at the Brisbane apartment got sold when I moved back. I didn’t have barely anything of that temporary phase of my life. Only memories and some photos.

Going from moving out of the childhood home to moving back, it feels like I went backwards in life. Yes it’s all familiar and comfortable but it doesn’t feel like progress in my life.

My age as a number keeps going up, but everything else is the same monotonous routines.

What other furniture do you want to change?

Well there’s nothing that urgent.

I don’t need new furniture for dopamine.

And this desk was only because of my shoulder. It was a health and safety issue for gaming.

What happened to your other desk?

Mum said she’s gonna use it.

I would if she wasn’t going to use it but she found a corner she wanted me to put it in and she’ll use it.

I’m looking at the bedroom and it’s fine. It just needs decluttering.

I don’t care about buying that much new furniture in my parents house. For some reason it’s just the gaming setup that matters.

I couldn’t believe how confused and incompetent he was with it! It was much faster for me to just do it myself!
