It’s just turned into regular ass people talking to the camera with different hot takes as if it’s open mic night at a comedy club. Except their hot takes are less than a minute. They’re just filming a very small and short thought.
It’s like not even a draft, it’s the beginning of a draft of a comedy segment.
You know comedians actually write tonnes and tonnes of jokes and put them together to form a one hour show?
But social media, especially vertical short form, has just turned into random people trying to go viral with a comedic hot take — it doesn’t have the punchline you’re hoping for.
They’re all trying to go viral with a random thought. And I see on the side, okay, they got like 18 likes? That’s not enough to turn into the next Kevin Hart, babe…
