Writers Strike?

Hey babe… do u think Korea is gonna have a writers strike in 2026?

Wha…?!

I juat watched this “Asian Boss” youtube video talking about — and I’m paraphrasing, this is my understanding and interpretation of what the video says — it seems like K-drama industry is going down the toilet because of Netflix and global popularity of the content and exploiting writers and others actually working on the show?!

Hmmmm… is that what they said in the video?!

It’s my understanding of it. I could have heard it wrong? I’m not directly quoting them. But that was my interpretation and understanding after watching what they presented…

Hmmm… so u think there’ll be a writers strike?

I’M ASKING YOU, BABE! 🀣🀣🀣

Hahahahaa… I dunno… maybe there’ll be a musical producers or background dancers strike for all the K-pop profits too in MY industry?!?!

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAA… 🀣 it’s funny but also a serious issue!

Hmmmmm…

My main takeaway from the Asian Boss video is that: entertainment industry trying to make money. Netflix. Globalisation and popularity of content. More money — but not going back to people who actually worked on it? Sure the big faces, celebrities they are getting paid πŸ€‘… but everyone else?!?!! It just doesn’t seem very fair…

Is business fair tho? It’s just business. Everyone is trying to make money. Maybe the celebrities would complain they’re not even getting paid enough either with how popular the shows get!

Sigh… so it’s just this endlessly viscious cycle.

We’re not all Taylor Swift owning our own Masters my love… she’s a Unicorn πŸ¦„

πŸ₯ΊπŸ’”… it feels unfair…

(Hugs hugs kisses!!!) πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ… don’t worry about it… it’s not even ur job!

Sigh…
