8/10… good… I took the train with Taiwanese Bestie… she saw a place on instagram she wanted to try. We went there — sigh — another foodie influencer disappointment. I’m beginning to not trust foodie content creators. I think they’re all lying.
Would you believe it, just as I was complaining on my story about this place, another friend said “MY friend owns that place! I’ll pass on the message!”

Yesssss… and then I was messaging that friend back and forth about my experience! I felt like I was speaking directly to the owner! And I got to vent out all my frustrations!

So what was wrong with it?
Understaffed during school holidays.
It wasn’t the only place. We walked past a lot of stores. I’m like, why is this happening in Australia?! Why is everywhere understaffed? It’s getting ridiculous.
I just feel like society is not doing very well, you know what I mean?

Anyway and then there were some random Karens on the streets. I was like, wtf is happening?!
They were the worst part of the day.
What’s the best part?
Oh… just spending time with my friend. Catching up like old friends do. That was the best part of the day.
