Well… after I brush my teeth and change to PJs…
I have to have the cat purring by the fireplace ASMR on YouTube playing… I have to turn the screen brightness to the lowest setting…
Then… well now it’s winter so I turn on my heater and my heated blanket…
Then I have to moisturise my hands and feet… oh I have to have lip balm somewhere in between that… usually I also have my “pee before bed” after I’ve brushed my teeth…

Ummmm… and then I kinda just settle into bed like right now I’ve got the doona over me but my arms are free enough to be typing…
And then I’ll probably scroll a bit on threads or instagram…
Eventually when I really start feeling tired I turn off the bedside lamp…
And… sometimes I accidentally fall asleep with the phone still in my hand and I wake up suddenly like why is my hand BURNING from the heat of the phone. It’s actually quite concerning. I hope it doesn’t affect me in my old age…

Sometimes the phone is not in my hand but next to my head on my pillow and I’m also waking up later in the night like “oh damn” —
