Not yet… Mum was tired… we watched up until the end of episode 8…

I have to wait for her, I’m not allowed to marathon by myself lol…

So we’ll finish episodes 9 and 10 when I get home tomorrow after work.

I like it… I am more captivated by it than the potato farm one…

Potato farm was really good the first few episodes then it kinda tapered off for me.

This one has been a steady… consistent… twists and turns, just enough of them, to keep me interested in the story line.

And the different scenes… city and country life… even visiting Japan?!

Like randomly the characters all know how to speak Japanese?!?!?!

😅😅😅 lol yeah…

And their JAPANESE co-workers also all just happen to understand them speaking KOREAN?!?!??!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lolololol…!!!

Yeah… I tried to suspend my disbelief with that…

There’s a lot of alcohol and smoking and violence tho?!?

Those scenes are always, me and Mum just fully disassociate. She’s says “They’re always doing that in every show!” — but what else can we compare with?

I don’t know that many Korean people personally either. Is this a reality?! Or is it just being exaggerated for the screen?

Is there a very high percentage of alcoholism, smoking and domestic violence?!?!?!?!?! We wouldn’t know 🤷‍♀️

It’s not like that in Taiwanese dramas?!

Maybe it is but we don’t watch those as much either…

The types of Taiwanese dramas that I have watched with her are Da Ai dramas… it’s a Buddhist channel… it’s very modest… violence is not portrayed for comedy. Only with the villains? I’m not even sure. I haven’t watched that much of those shows either. There is more of a veil on smoking, alcohol, and violence in those shows. It’s more implied than explicitly acted out — from what I can remember. There is more censorship about it?! I dunno… 🤷‍♀️

I’m honestly not used to seeing how much is on the screen in these Korean shows! But Australian Netflix rated it “M” so I guess… that’s the Aussie rating for this level of violence, smoking and alcohol.
