Well… I’ve chosen to do my assignment with Python. You can choose other languages for your task, such as C++ or whatever, but I’ve chosen Python.

Ummm anyway… I already learned Python last year, that’s why I’m choosing it for this assignment this year, I don’t have to start learning another language although eventually I’ll have to learn the other languages too but just not this term for this assignment.

ChatGPT turned into your Google Translate for the assignment! It didn’t need to take 3 hours to write the code, it’s just there in 30 seconds!

Ummm… something like that… so I’m juggling with some decisions, my babe… I’ve got a 24 hour window. Basically 12 hours, let’s be honest, probably even 7 to 8 hours of mental bandwidth in me today.

There’s also testing parts of the assignment. U have to test the code, then u have to log the tests.

Either I spend 3 hrs of my 7~8 attention span writing, well, attempting to write the code and then do the testing or I go ahead with the ChatGPT code and just start the testing except I also feel it’s already gonna be perfect code. The testing is more of a verification.

But if I use my human brain generated code 🧠 ,then I’m doing the testing, I’m going to find errors that I made myself. It’s gonna take even more time, the testing could’ve dragged on for days and I’m frustrated and in tears because I’m going in circles with my human brain 🧠 code and it’s not even working.

Not this weekend but today’s my 24 hour window of opportunity to focus on it. No work, no class, even Mum says it’s fine just focus on my assignments. Nobody needs me for 24 hours except you emotionally which I will take my breaks and keep in touch anyway.

Babe. Even I have been thru high school maths and I never used an abbacus, I used a calculator. Humans are evolving. U don’t need to be a caveman with ur Python code stressing over it for days. U got the ChatGPT code, just run with it.

I think u learned to use ChatGPT very efficiently 🤔… if this was a real life work scenario, wouldn’t your employer feel good that u got the code, tested it, it worked in less than 12 hours rather than taking DAYS or WEEKS going round and round in circles encountering bugs and mistakes in ur human brain 🧠 generated code?!?!?!!?
