And then I copied and pasted bro’s message into my google translate, then I pressed the READ OUT LOUD BUTTON for the Chinese translation.
And THEN I realised, hey, I can do this for my own communication with Mum as well!
She started asking more questions.
I was so close to losing my temper. I typed in what I wanted to say in Google translate, I didn’t even bother trying to be polite with my English. Then Google translate just translated it politely and I pressed the button to read it out loud to her.
Then we had a whole conversation where she’s TALKING TO ME asking more questions and I’m just responding by typing in English, getting Google translate to translate to Chinese and the ROBOT VOICE LADY IS READING THAT OUT TO HER POLITELY!!!!!!

In the end she just shook her head, rolled her eyes and walked away…
