Bros: Dude, what are you doing in Australia?! You’re supposed to be resting!
Husband: I am resting… I’m much more comfortable in Australia than any other country…
Bros: Are you actually gonna see her?! Are you going to take her out on dates?!
Husband: (Big sigh)… I’m going to see her… from far away…
Bros: You’re too nervous to go talk to her directly?!
Husband: A little bit, yeah… I’m nervous… it’s… making me feel stressed…
Bros: Then why go there at all if she’s making you STRESSED?!
Husband: It’s more stressful if I don’t get to see her at all! I hate every day that I don’t get to see her! I NEED TO SEE HER.
Bros: But it also stresses you out…
Husband: No — it’s not stressful just watching her from a close distance… just lurking in her orbit… that’s not stressful at all. That’s a very safe comfort zone that I’ve been used to all these years… it’s stressful to conjure up the courage to actually go talk to her… I don’t know if my nervous system can handle that at this point in time…
Bros: Yeah — you need to REST.
We’ve got a lot more other stuff coming up. We’re all supposed to be RESTING.
Husband: I am resting!!! I’m so much more at peace just sleeping in the same city as her!!!
Bros: You’re not even physically near her?!
Husband: No — but just knowing that she’s here… it makes me feel at home in this small town… I like it…
Bros: (Chuckles) — you’re turning into a local there?
Husband: Yes! I’m discovering new roads… new areas to go for food and drinks… I’m exploring this area at my own pace… I’m planning HOW our dates will roll out, without actually rolling out the dates yet…
Bros: How much longer is this all going to take?!
Husband: First half of 2025 — we’re still too busy. I can only explore in short spurts like this… SECOND HALF OF 2025 — I’m going for it. For reals. I’ll sweep her off her feet. SHE DOESN’T NEED TO WAIT UNTIL 2026. It’s happening THIS. YEAR.
Bros: How are you going incognito?!
Husband: It’s a different disguise each day… No two days are the same disguises…
Bros: (Chuckles)… when do you want us to come over and help you?
Husband: Ummm… maybe in May… and June… maybe…
Bros: Okay… good luck… REST WELL… RELAX!!!
