The fact that the little girl wanted to talk to SOMEONE about Lady Gaga — I was happy to listen. I guess there wasn’t many other people in our Taiwanese circle at the time who allowed her to share the joy and love of Lady Gaga… I held the space for her to process her joy and admiration.
Even her mother then apologised profusely on the phone! “Sorry I didn’t think she would go on and on for TEN MINUTES!!!”
And it was fine… it only happened once that year anyway…
