Wednesday

What are you doing today, my love?

I’ve got a load of laundry…

I’m googling some things…

What did you have for breakfast?

Wholemeal English muffins… etc. etc. I bought like 2 packets, I’ve got a lot of them to get through over the next couple of weeks…

Oh I see…

What are you googling?

Australian election… stuff… trying to understand it…

Ooh…?

It’s not very interesting, but I’m scrolling through some things…

Uhuh…

Umm… I didn’t know there were so many… ๐Ÿ˜

I know, right!?!!?! Half of them I haven’t even heard of until today!

I’m gonna click on every single one of them in a new tab and read about them.

And then I have to write down my personal ranking. But I won’t share it on here.

What…?!?!

Most people are lazy and just vote “1” for the party they want. It’s usually either Labor or Liberal. That’s what… I’m assuming… the biggest chunk of the population does.

But not me. We have a ranking system in Australia. It’s not a two-party system like America. We can RANK THEM.

So I gotta go through and do my research and actually rank them.

My personal ranking, then I’ll remember how I wanna rank them when I actually fill in my ballot on the day.

Oh… okay…?

Can I just rank them like Top 3 out of that list?

No! Silly!!!

Then your whole vote doesn’t even count!!!

It’s either “1” on top of the line, or you go below the line and rank them 1 through to — however many that is, I haven’t even counted yet… Actually it might be Top 16? I think you need to at least rank 1 – 16??? I can’t remember!!!

Wahhhh… Even 1 to 16 feels… so… tedious…

IT’S AUSTRALIAN DEMOCRACY.

(LOLOLOLOLOLOL)… ^0^

It will take, what? 30 minutes of my day today? Just to get an overview, do a little bit of reading?

I just wanna be INFORMED and make an INFORMED DECISION

Uhuh…

I go through reading all their policies, what are they actually planning to implement if they win?

LOL… wow…

Darling… it’s a privilege to live in a democracy.

It’s like reading the ingredients label on a product before you buy.

It doesn’t even take that long to go to that actual party’s website and find their policies page and read — WHAT ARE YOU ACTUALLY ABOUT?!?!!?

I love you! (Big smiles) ^__^ โค โค โค

Love you too… xoxoxoxoxxx
