He went to sleep after a workout, he didn’t have dinner??!!

Uhuh…

Then his body doesn’t know where else to get the protein for muscle recovery other than eating away at your own muscles!!! It doesn’t help to build or repair muscles at all!!! It will cause a protein deficit!!! People look thinner when they do that cos they’ve lost muscle, they haven’t even lost fat! Ur body will take protein from its own muscles to do other processes where it needs amino acids if ur not eating or drinking in more protein! It will prioritise taking protein before it takes away fat! The fat is separate for energy and other things.

He should have a protein shake, at least, if he doesn’t feel like eating food, within 30 minutes after the workout!

Get the electrolytes amino acid mixes… if that is easier to just drink something. Even the protein water if u don’t want a shake!

Or the equivalent is Los Angeles gym culture. I mean Aussies basically get most of their advice from there…
