Holiday?

Babe, do u wanna holiday in some of these countries?

Yeah…?

But it’s not urgent?

Like 2028? 2029?

That far away?

I dunno, whenever… but maybe not this year?

Okay…

You still haven’t talked much about when you were in Mexico…

Oh? Didn’t I?! Was it a draft?!

Maybe?

Oh, it’s not a big deal, I went to Chichen Itza.

Chichen Itza?

Yeah, to look at the pyramids…

(Googling…) 🤓

Here. Lemme find some pics on instagram…

That’s a nice photo…

Mmm… there were a lot more tourists around when I was there…

Did u climb the pyramid?

NO! It’s not allowed!? I think someone got arrested?!

But there’s pics of people on there…

They used to allow people to climb it until they realised it was getting damaged…

Just leave it alone. Stay respectful. Don’t try to climb if you go there please. Don’t even touch it.

Oh… what else was there?

Umm… there was a tour guide who spoke English and explained a lot of the history and stuff…

Uhuh…

You know, I actually started writing a love story when I got back to my hotel that evening…

Oh? You were inspired?

Very inspired

I don’t even have the notes now. I was just in one of my writing hyperfocus modes… but I was all by myself.

I can’t even remember how I fed myself. Did I order room service?! Maybe?!

But I was like, in my flow, as a writer…

And I thought I’d be tired! It was a full day of touring and walking around…

But… it was a really interesting place.

The tour guide told many stories.

And, I enjoyed soaking in the energies

It sparked so much imagination in me and now I don’t even know what happened to my notebook that I started writing the stories in…

You didn’t type it out anywhere?!

No… I felt like writing ✍️… pen on paper…

What did you write about?

I can’t remember… two characters in an ancient world… a forbidden love?

Lol… 😅

Maybe… I’m not sure…

But I remember when I had to fly back to Australia. I felt so depressed. I felt like, I wish I could be a writer that didn’t have to have a regular job for money…

(Chuckles)…

It was my cocoon for creativity… that’s what it felt like for me.

I really enjoyed visiting an ancient site… the energies — despite heaps of tourists around as well — I still soaked in some ancient energies and I felt it was very healing…

You gotta go with a respectful aura. I didn’t go asking to be inspired, I just was… it sparked a natural curiosity in me…
