Yes, I’m getting all my references ready. Not everyone likes to do it this way. But I like to do it this way — for this type of assignment. I don’t always do it this way either. It’s not exactly like tuning instruments, but that’s the best metaphor that I can come up with for now.
Because then there’s minimal interruptions, once I actually focus and start on the actual assignment. Does that make sense?
You don’t want to have to tune the instruments in the middle of it once you start playing.
Yes… something like that. Sometimes, there’s still going to be moments, “Oh I need another reference or two” but it’s not like such a big task to get ALL the references…
