It’s not so scary if you “fall” in the Metaverse, sure you can get a bit dizzy, but for me, I just touch the ground, my hand is on the floor — I know this is just virtual reality.

I like to have a rug underneath. A textured rug. Because wherever I am in the metaverse, my feet can “feel” the rug — I know I’m still in a room at home connecting into the Metaverse, does that make sense?

Yeah — it’s FREAKY — right?!?! Because everyone has an AVATAR — but who knows who they are, in real life?!!?! It’s even more “foreign” feeling than just, random names in a Discord server, right?! They have an “avatar” — they could be a boy or a girl — they could dress however they want — it’s just imaginary graphics. You don’t really “know” them — it’s weird… it was a really weird feeling…

Yes… that’s the even weirder part! You could HEAR THEIR VOICES — I didn’t wanna talk — but THEY TALKED!!! — These other users, people who were connecting in with their VR devices — they could TALK — and they had their AVATARS — it was so weird!!!
Huh… I actually haven’t had that experience…

I didn’t linger in there for too long… it’s just weird… I don’t know… maybe I’m still old fashioned?! Maybe I’m a Boomer about this?! I don’t know! I just didn’t stay very long, it felt weird…
I like exploring Metaverse games — by myself — it’s weird with other users… it’s weird to “connect” though Avatars — maybe it’ll be different if I genuinely KNOW that other player in real life?! And we can have our own private Meta room to play?! Does that make sense?!

Yeah?!?! Right?!?!?! Like — I don’t really want to go on there to “meet random people” via their online avatars and the only identifiable thing about them — connected to their real lives — is their VOICE through the mic?!?!?!
Some people do genuinely meet and make friends that way… I guess they just trust that who they’re talking to is who they say they are…
