Babe… I can’t speak on behalf of any other production companies… All I can say is that from my own experiences working on just a few episodes — the episodes were, at least 30 minutes, sometimes 45 minutes — depending on the topics… yes, you need a fucking script! Or at least an outline of topics — but actually — the lawyers — yes, you need a script! Because the lawyers had to approve that script. In that industry. I don’t know about the entertainment industry, but in THAT industry — lawyers were the final gatekeepers of those scripts.
