Well… we finally got pest control… they’ve been and gone for this morning…
Oh? You didn’t announce it to everybody as it was happening?
No… some things… it’s still better to talk about after it’s happened…
And why was it embarrassing?
I think that pest control person is gonna go to the pub on the weekend and be like, “You’d be surprised how messy some Asian people’s houses are…”

Like that is so fuckin’ embarrassing!!!!!!! But I really didn’t have any time to clean — and it’s all my mother’s mess! It’s all her clutter!!! I can’t do anything about it. It’s just HER STUFF — I can’t help it!
I’m sure they don’t really care either… and I’m sure they’ve seen worse houses…
Babe — you haven’t even seen it yet… trust me, I don’t think anyone could be worse than us…
I doubt it… I’m sure there’s worse — you said it wasn’t like the TV show Hoarders, right?

So there’s obviously worse — people like on that show — are worse!
That show is already a whole other extreme. The fact that we’re not “that bad” doesn’t actually say much about us!!!

(LOL) — I’ve actually offered — and they said no. They didn’t want my help with that sort of thing. Kinda like your parents. They’re just happy to live the way they live. Low-key… no maids… no cleaners… they just do their own thing.
