We have, family friends, who once visited China just to open up a bakery… just a little bakery… back in the day… okay?

And, well, they don’t work anymore.
They don’t work anymore? The bakery closed down?
No babe. They don’t work anymore because they don’t HAVE to. They just let the bakery run itself. They don’t have to do SHIT! They had an EARLY RETIREMENT from the amount of money they were making just from a little bakery!!! THE MONEY JUST GROWS ITSELF.
LOL… but your Dad didn’t want to do all that?
No… he didn’t fully trust it… and maybe the family friends were bragging or exaggerating… we don’t have first hand experience. We’ve just heard stories. The good and bad. Nobody will tell you NOT to be cautious.
But it seems the people who’ve succeeded — well, it’s a bit like the mines in Australia, you know?
?! No I don’t really know? Honestly I have nothing to do with the mines in Australia with my work?!
Okay so like people in Australia will psychologically prepare themselves for working in the mines for maybe 5 or 6 years, some average like that. But it’s hard. It’s a hard slog. But the money is good. They’re gonna go in and make that money then just as quickly get out. Well, 5 or 6 years then get out. A lot of people have these plans, like I wanna be able to afford a house. I go in and work for 5 or 6 years I can afford a house, I can have a little bit extra for nice holidays and I can invest the rest. Get in, get out. It’s not a long-term career — for some, yes — for many, it’s not. It’s a hard slog. That’s the best way I know how to describe it?!
Whatever other stories they tell? If they make it look and sound easy? Is it ever that easy to “make money” — ?! There’s always risks. There’s always something to be cautious about. It can SOUND easy — you can tell the story like it’s gonna be easy but in real life — it’s not “easy” — it’s gonna be WORK… it’ll be hard work. It always is.
