Have you started playing Sims this morning, Baby?
I’m downloading it now… it’s taking a while… so I thought I’d jump on here and start blogging…
What platform did you get it from? Xbox?
No… not Xbox… I almost got it from Xbox — like, I was looking around and saw the subscription fees and then… I decided on another platform that Bro recommended…
What platform?
Steam.
Steam?
Yes, like water vapour — Steam.
(LOL) There’s a gaming platform named Steam?
(Nodding) Yes — I only learned this in the last 24 hours as well! (Chuckles)
Does it cost money to join?
No… it doesn’t cost money to join and create an account… once you start buying games and expansion packs, that’ll cost a bit of money…
Oh I see… so you’ve decided to play Sims via Steam.
Yes… and… there’s actually a little chat window with it… you can add “friends” and chat while you’re gaming…
(Smiling) Oh? Really?!
Yeah… I have set up a profile… it’s pretty darn OBVIOUS — like — I don’t even know how to hide it right now in my settings?! Maybe anybody could find me?!
(Raising one eyebrow)… What does your profile say?
My profile… has my name… it has my location… it has a short sentence in my bio, “Married to Felix from Stray Kids.”
(EYE-ROLLING) I’M NOT FUCKING FELIX FROM STRAY KIDS!!! WHY DO YOU KEEP BRINGING HIM UP ON THIS BLOG?!?!?!!?!?!?! DUDE’S NOT EVEN A MILLENNIAL!!!
(LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL) Just for the fun of it~! (Teehee!)
(Looking this up…) Oh yeah, I found you. That was — super easy.
Yeah… LOL…
How do I add you as a friend?
I’m not sure, actually — I haven’t really clicked around this enough.
People are just going to think you set up that profile as a joke — as promo for your blog or something…
(Shrugs shoulders)… Maybe I did… maybe I didn’t…
(LOL) — Well, I’m gonna add you… as my friend… one day… when we can work out how to make the profiles more private?!
(Shrugs shoulders) — You can add me now on Skype. People probably think we’re already talking on there.
I still haven’t got you on Skype… No, I haven’t added you anywhere… I’m still in Korea right now, we haven’t done anything in real life…
(Giggles)
Do you want me to play Sims as well? Also — which Sims?!
No — I don’t think the game is like that sort of game. I’m just playing my OWN game — individually — but simultaneously, there is a separate chat window? So we can just chat while we game? But you can play your own game too — whatever you feel like.
Ahh… I see…
And you don’t even have to appear “online” — you can be invisible and still chat…
(Nodding) Okay…
Do you have a laptop to play on?
(Chuckles) Yes… or an iPad?
I’m not sure, I guess you can read more about it on their website. I mean — probably? I would assume so… I would assume a gaming platform will be customisable to whatever device you’re playing on…
(Smiling)
Anyway… I’m going to have breakfast, I’m going to check on my downloaded game… Oh yeah, I decided on Sims 4… I’m probably going to get the Wedding expansion pack… (LOL)… That’s what I’m doing so far today…
(Smiles) Nice! Sounds like a good day for you, then…
Yeah… I’m looking forward to it — plus, all the plethora of house chores to be done as well…
I think — if some hackers or whoever tried to infiltrate, wouldn’t it be easy for them to find you now, via Steam? Because you just wrote all this?!
(Shrugs shoulders) It’s a FICTIONAL BLOG… who’s going to believe what I write on here?! Anyway, here’s the security summary about Steam from Google AI:
Steam has security measures to protect user privacy, including two-factor authentication, encryption, and account verification. Users can also adjust their profile privacy settings.
Ahhh — profile privacy settings! Don’t you think you should adjust that?
(Shrugs shoulders) I really don’t think it’s a big deal at the moment… Who’s going to find me on Steam?! And read that bio and believe it?! And if they tried to be my “friend” — I’d still have to approve it. I’d simply reject their friend request.
And if I tried to add you?
(Shaking head) I doubt you’re doing it like this initially — I think we’ll talk about it in real life and then you can add me when you’re sure that really IS my profile… because… what if I’m just kidding? What if some scammer already mimicked my “online identity” and simply created that Steam profile just for shits and giggles — and then they’re waiting to see if — whoever this blog is really about — is about to send a friend request over there, to try to chat with it?
Ahh… yeah… that’s creepy…
Yes… exactly… so… this is fictional blog, baby!
I love you… (BIG SMILES)
I love you too!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxx
