Well… tonight we talked a lot about whether or not I needed to buy a new gaming laptop…

Well — I thought I wanted one — but bro is like, “No, you don’t NEED it, you don’t even play those types of games…” — To him, it’s an absolutely unnecessary purchase.
I can just… buy you one, right now?
I know! But — Bro says it’s unnecessary. We have a desktop at home that I can use to play games… it’s technically Mum’s but she’s not here these days…
But when she’s back you won’t be able to use it to play…
Yeah… well… I have another Mac too…

(Chuckles) We have so much… random tech hardware in our homes… (LOL) It’s something else you’ll get used to…

Oh… my sister-in-law is always pointing out how we’re similar… it’s like I’m a female version of HIM sometimes…

Well… he’s not a carbon copy “male” version of me, of course not — but sometimes, when we’re just randomly being ourselves, my sister-in-law is like, pointing it out — “YOU TWO…” like — what?! — We didn’t see those parallels, but she does!

Yeah anyway… I mainly just want to play Sims… I miss playing Sims… and I want to play Sims and create “our” characters — and I want to just daydream that we’re living in a nice house and pop out some babies in Sims…

And then I think, I probably won’t blog as much when I start playing… and maybe I’ll just blog once a day or something, I don’t know… but I think it will get sparser…

I know… but I also feel like… it’s just a natural evolution… it’s just winding down a little bit… in a good way — in a healthier way — like I’m getting back into a normal routine… class, work… housework… catching up on celebrity gossip… I’m getting back to my “normal” but also observing myself — keeping you in my heart — while I’m getting back to my “normal” — and my normal will also include… playing Sims… just for fun… just for my “severance” from class and work… sometimes, I just want to play Sims and daydream…

Well — I was told by my bro today that I’m a “Retro Gamer” — I don’t actually care about modern games, I miss my good old late-90s/early-2000s games…

Anyway, tomorrow… I’ve got a lot of housework to get to… I’ve gotta take some things to the rubbish tip… some appliances that stopped working… I need to do some cans recycling… and then… I’m gonna maybe download Sims onto Mum’s desktop and play it again for the first time in years…
Which version?
I’m not sure… There seems to be mixed reviews on Sims 3 or Sims 4… it’s turning into a “Star Wars versus Star Trek” debate — some people swear by 3, and some swear by 4… I’m gonna spend some time — maybe even watch some YouTube previews… decide which one I wanna get… I’m leaning towards 4 though…

And then… yeah… I’m thinking if I should get groceries… I’m kind of at that in between like I could get them or I could still survive for a few more days without a top-up… so I’m kinda umm’ing and ahh’ing about whether or not to do a grocery run tomorrow as well…

Maybe not. I think the rubbish tip and cans recycling will be enough — outside of the house — activities for tomorrow. And then I’ll play Sims… either 3 or 4…

Probably not…? I’ll still try to write at least once a day… I think that’s my new goal… oh my gosh, maybe this is the CHINESE NEW YEAR shift in energies!!!
