How much longer?

How much longer?

How long do you think we’re going to be doing this for?

You and your bros? As you are?

Pretty much… how long do you think it’s going to go on for?

I think you all still have many decades left in you… as a group…

Many decades?!?!?! How many decades?!?!

I’m still thinking about the Bon Jovi documentary — you should watch it. They just kept going… they’re STILL. GOING…!!!

(Chuckles) You think we’re like… Asian Bon Jovis?

(Nodding) Pretty much… why not?!

Well… the structure… the format is very different… different genres…

True… but still… I don’t know, I see it. Is it only me?! I can see it happening…

What would that mean for us?

I think eventually… maybe… maybe there are different contracts outlined… maybe it comes to a point of a collective cultural agreement — “The guys are old enough to be married” — and it’s still… okay? Like, look at how Bon Jovi and his band mates handled it — actually, some of them didn’t handle it very well — but overall, there were relationships in the public eye. That happened for them.

They didn’t handle it very well? (Side-eye!!!)

Well… some of them… didn’t seem to handle it that well… but… this was back in the 80s? 90s?! I don’t know, whatever timeline. Their manager got into trouble for some things as well… so yeah, this is a totally different scenario. But it’s just interesting… it’s the most similar parallel that I can think of…

There were accusations of cheating? With Bon Jovi?

I think so…? But that’s not really any of our business. Whatever it is — he’s still with his wife, and they have had a very long marriage, and kids, and they’re not like “hiding” it or anything — she steps out with him when she’s hosting her charity gigs… he supports her charity projects… It’s kind of cool, I think, their dynamic…

Do you want us to be like them?

We could never be “like them” —

Why not?

Because we’re us! So we’ll be us… and they are them. Different generations. Different industries. Even different countries! We’re not… quite… like them… but similar… very, very similar…

Do you think he’d be a good mentor? If I ever met Bon Jovi?

Sure?!?! Why not?!!?! He seems to be a really good mentor in his own documentary…

(Nodding) (Smiling)

What?

I just love that you… bring up these random things… that you’ve spent your free time watching Bon Jovi documentaries… things like that… David Beckham documentary… you know… so then you can give me your opinions on stuff that’s relevant for me…

Yeah and I wasn’t even thinking about you when I watched those documentaries. I genuinely forgot about you when I was watching them…

What?!?! So why did you watch those documentaries?!?!?!

I don’t know?!?! I LIKE David Beckham and Posh Spice as celebrities? I LIKE Bon Jovi as a band?!?! I was curious?!?!!?

Your were curious?!?!! You were a CURIOUS FAN of David Beckham, Posh Spice and Jon Bon Jovi?!?!!

No — I said Bon Jovi, the band — I don’t really think about Jon that much. As a dude… no?! But I liked his story about him and and his wife in that documentary. That was cool…

Oh… okay… maybe I should go watch it…

Yeah, go watch it… we can talk about it more in real life… or we can watch it together again — in real life!

Which documentary? I think they’ve made more than one…

“Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story” on Disney Plus (2024).

Didn’t I talk about it on my Tik Tok?

(Shaking his head — he’s always been a lurker on my Tik Toks) No?!

Oh… I thought I did… maybe I just recorded a draft and never pressed publish.
