Not in real time… I’m getting ready for my concert this weekend… but I’ll probably wind down from the concert and read your blog and then watch it…
The little girl — I think she’s in some previews as well — she reminds me of one of our mutual friends…

Yes, I think it’s a really harmless and vague anecdote that you and I both understand. Most people reading this will probably just think, “Well they’re both Asians — of course they have mutual friends who are also Asians and that little girl is an Asian girl”
(Chuckling)

(LOLOLOLOL) No — That friend is not Gen Z. The little girl character could be her daughter. But yes! I’m so delighted they finally wrote Gen Z into this Season 2 script! (LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL)
Yes, I think most audiences will understand she’s supposed to represent Gen Z’s place in the office… even I understand and I’ve never worked in an office.
Yes… and it’s not all “Gen Z” — it’s just sometimes — when a Gen Z might suddenly appear in an office… (LOL)
What do you think of Episode 1 so far?
I’m… just digesting it now as I type…
I think the guy… his two love stories… it’s almost… like us?
Is it? Is it like us?
Sort of… I feel like… his wife… his “outie’s” wife — she’s like me — in the past. In our past. Maybe. From your perspective. But the main lady character with the red hair — they’re falling in love — in the office?! And — sometimes she reminds me of me, sometimes she reminds me of you — sometimes, the guy reminds me of me… and when they “fall in love” in those scenes — it reminds me of us — now, in 2025… it sort of reminds me of us now… does that make any sense? Maybe I will change my opinions as the show progresses. But so far, that’s what it’s reminding me of…
So you never had a corporate affair? None of the love storylines are reminding you of anything that happened with a past flirtation or relationship? All the love dynamics are reminding you of us?
(Nodding) Yes… and I can talk about that here. It’s got nothing to do with working in an office. It’s our love. The little moments of tenderness in this show — it reminds me of us. Whether with the guy reminiscing his wife or with the red haired lady in the office — both of those situations, reminds me of us.
