I’m starting to feel sleepy right now as I’m typing this.
I used to wear pink boots, with a picture of a baby skeleton on it? Sort of… punk-girl-ish.
At the top of Melbourne Central, there was a small shop — I’ve forgotten the name now. But there was a lady — she owned the shop. And we had a small networking moment. I even took her business card… perhaps, if I had stayed — we would’ve collaborated on something. But then I left, went back to Gold Coast. But she was very nice, with her little store, on top of Melbourne Central. (It’s not there anymore).
I’ve visited Perth a few times (? I think?) and it’s so weird being on the “West coast” of Australia — my whole sense of navigation, living on the Gold Coast this many years, the ocean is to the right of me. The Ocean is EAST.
I like bats. But people think they’re scary and dirty and have rabies. I mean, sure, they probably do have rabies. And they got an even worse reputation from Covid… but I think they’re cute little critters.
I used to have these delusions about being a yoga teacher — the image was more impressive in my mind than all the work it took to really establish that. It’s not what I want right now, at all. I know that I don’t suit that life.
I don’t like dogs as much as people might assume that I like dogs.
I’ve seen two very different Cambodias… that I’ll never shake off.
