I don’t know why I get this feeling that maybe we’ll move… around a bit? Or it’ll be like 5 to 10 year phases? I just get a more nomadic kind of vibe from us, if we don’t have kids. It’s like we wouldn’t have anchors…
I can see our lives, here, Gold Coast / Brisbane area if we have kids. I can see the schools the kids are going to — all of that.
But if they’re not around? If they’re never born?
Maybe… if you ask me to move to Sydney with you because you’ve got some work projects, it’ll be easier — I’ll say yes.
Really? Only Sydney? Or is there like a list of locations that you’d be happy to relocate to?
Hmm… this also depends what age… what’s going on with our parents as well. What’s realistic?

Places to potentially relocate:
- Sydney — only because, it feels like… the hustle and bustle of Australia, you know? Like there’s gonna be more projects… more networking? Maybe? I’m not sure… (Yes, I have high school friends to catch up with if we move there… and yoga friends…)
- Has to be North Sydney. Mosman. That’s my childhood.
- Vancouver? — I always got a good vibe… well, I’ve only visited there once, but from the one visit, I got a good vibe. And yes, I have Taiwanese Buddhist friends there…
- New York — Upper East Side or SoHo only — Why would I want to live in New York if I wasn’t on the Upper East Side or SoHo?! I can’t do it any other way. I’m not living anywhere else long term in New York. (No, my Uncle doesn’t live in those areas! But I know me!)
- Los Angeles…? (Really cringing at the thought)…
- NEWPORT (Orange County) — preferred, rather than Los Angeles.
Ugh, actually I still prefer Gold Coast / Brisbane when looking at this list!
Also I’m PMSing so… don’t believe it… (LOL)… It’s like, 60% true… I don’t know what’s going on with the other 40%… Oestrogen-depleting delusions.
There’s nowhere in Asia on that list?
WELL… maybe NOT Tokyo… cos… it’s too much. I can’t handle a city like Tokyo. Only short holidays for that.

I don’t feel like living in Tokyo, though… I don’t want to be part of the anime conventions — you know what I mean?! I don’t want to be Gen Z Tokyo neon lights~~ Harajuku girls?! I don’t know what I’m saying, it’s the Oestrogen-depleting luteal phase!
But… Kyoto? Kyoto seems… more laid back? More nostalgic? Historical? Cultural vibes? I don’t know… I just feel like… that’s more… me? Us? Maybe?
