The rumours are always
on Reddit. Or the Dark Web,
which I’ve never visited.
Not yet. I haven’t been
to the Dark Web.

“Don’t go in there by yourself,”
the teacher said. “You’ll learn
about it, next year. — Don’t go
in there, yet.”

I still feel very innocent. I’m
not about to go exploring
the Dark Web alone. Without
a teacher, a guide, a Protector
of the Light — give us the tour,
tell us what is important.
That’s it. I don’t need to know
too much more.

I don’t want to spend any
unnecessary time there, if I
don’t have to. I don’t want to
know anyone — in real life —
who might spend too much
time
in the Dark Web.
