Are there any toxic “friends” doing VooDoo or Dark Magick on us? Do you think?
No, I don’t think so.
You don’t? Why not?
I saw a sign from the Universe today.
You did? What was the sign?
As I drove into work, there was a police car momentarily behind my car.
Police car? You took that as a “protection” sign from the Universe? Most people are a bit “scared” and “nervous” when police are around. You weren’t scared by the presence of police?
I’m not normally scared by the presence of police, but it also depends — what time of day, what else is happening? Maybe I am usually a little more alert, but not scared. Especially Queensland police.
Why is that?
It’s a bit long to explain. But I have family who used to be police. Extended family. Not close family. And I know acquaintances in the Queensland police, that’s why I’m not scared of Queensland police.
Oh? Like right now? To this day? At any time, of any day, you could just instant message that acquaintance if you feel like you’re in trouble in any way?
Yes… although I would just go the normal route of calling emergency services in Australia — it would have to be really extreme to have to “call in that favour” from an acquaintance. I can’t even imagine how extreme — really, really beyond my comprehension.
Do you… sense any real threats from toxic “friends” — ?
Nope.
Not at all?
Not at all.
That’s good. That makes my heart more calm… how do you know the police acquaintances?
From the Aunties, friends of Mum’s.
Oh… any other details?
Not for a public blog. I don’t think I would even talk to people like my co-workers about it. Some things I just keep to myself.
You’re always surprising me with random people that you know… I don’t think I could find any of this information on Facebook or LinkedIn or anything like that.
In this day and age, who’s going to stay connected to absolutely everyone they actually know — on the internet? It’s silly. It’s a little… careless. For some connections, it would be irresponsible.
Interesting… I wish you could tell me more.
I literally can’t, not with Queensland police! (LOL)
But you feel safe. You feel safe with Queensland police. You can talk about how you feel?
Hmmm… I can say that I relate to the role of the police force like the Dharmaparlas or “Protectors” in Buddhism.
That’s… a little beyond me, I’m an Atheist.
LOL, I know. I’m just trying to explain… in my religious beliefs — in my connection with the Universe — if I feel scared, I pray for protection.
Oh. Okay…
Yes. In Buddhism — well, my understanding of it — if you feel scared, you can pray to the Dharmaparlas for protection. And they will appear. Just like, what is more commonly known now — Kuan Yin, Bodhisattva of Compassion — if you need to call on Kuan Yin’s help, you can do that too. Or call everybody! Pray to Kuan Yin, pray to Dharmaparlas, pray to Buddha. Every Spiritual Super Best Friend is going to appear.
That’s your belief? Deep down? You’re not a Witch, you’re a Buddhist, and that’s your belief?
LOL… yes!
