Psychic: So there’s something else you need to know… he’s wealthy, he’s powerful — but not as wealthy or powerful as many might think. Maybe not even as wealthy or powerful as you would’ve initially assumed. He can’t control the traffic. It’s nothing like that. He’s not like — whatever Dictator of some country — that could like, control traffic, do you know what I mean!?

Me: (Nodding) Sure. Okay. He can’t control traffic.

Psychic: Yes. So there are logical limitations to what he is capable of. He can’t control traffic. He’s not God, he can’t control the weather. He can’t control people just out in public saying random things — that’s God. That’s the Universe. And sometimes it might feel like, “What is this?! It’s so synchronistic!” — that’s GOD. That’s the Universe, giving you both a little nudge.

Me: He doesn’t believe in God.

Psychic: Doesn’t matter if he doesn’t believe. He’s a human on this planet. God exists.

Me: (Can’t be bothered arguing with this right now) Okay… but I don’t really believe in “God” like the Christian god either…

Psychic: (Chuckles) Yes, yes, you two have that in common. You two get along about that. But you’re different. You do believe in a — something — the Universe? Right, right, you prefer to use the word, “The Universe” — you don’t like the word “God” with a capital G.

Me: Yeah. I tend to just write “god” without a capital G. When Christians refer to it, it’s “God” with the capital G.

Psychic: Okay. Well. Anyway. My point is that, you have a spiritual connection with the Universe. He does, too, but in his own way. He’s not going to talk about it, ever. But he does. Even if he’s an Atheist, there’s something… just not explained in words. It’s easier for him to say “Atheist” because usually that means people will leave him alone when talking about spirituality.

Me: That’s okay. I see it in my Dad as well.

Psychic: Yes. Exactly. So you have that experience, being the daughter of an Atheist.

Me: So if he can’t control traffic, he can’t control people in public — what can he control?

Psychic: MUSIC.

Me: What?

Psychic: MUSIC IS HIS LOVE LANGUAGE. He can curate playlists, he can write songs, he can sing, he can dance — music is his love language. Music, he has full control. He knows it in himself. He can use it to express himself at any time of any day. He can share all the love for you through his music. And it doesn’t even matter if others are taking it as a personal message — he, as the creator of the work — he is clear in HIS intentions. The audience, how they receive that, that’s on them. It has nothing to do with him when it’s released, when it’s out there. That’s their own personal experiences. His only intention is to reach you, reach your heart and touch it.

Me: (Chuckles) Okay. Well, it works.

Psychic: There ya go. So, music is a shared love language. Music, art, creativity in any form. You two have that. It wouldn’t work with someone who didn’t “get” it — it just wouldn’t work that way. And there’s nobody else standing in either of yours’ way. The only third party in this relationship is GOD — sorry, I know you both don’t like to say it like that, but that’s how I see it. (LOL)
