There’s something you want to tell me about the Characters.

You can think of them all as A.I. and Anu is the programmer. They are programmed to be friendly, to be kind, to be altruistic, to be gracious, and polite. They also have a secret programming — nobody knows — when you are, in real life, physically in the same room as the body, and the Characters are in control (well, they have to be, due to Contracts signed)… the Characters’ eyes will follow you, any chance they get. Like a security camera.

Because this world is untrustworthy. Because this world is unstable. If there was a crazy person that ran into the room as a threat — The Characters will “break character” and jump into Security Mode.

Yes. It’s very intense. And it’s only reserved for real threats.
How would the Characters know the difference between real and perceived threats?
