I didn’t know shit about Unicef. But I trusted my friend. And I was open to it. “Why not?” was sort of my attitude. I had nothing else going on…
They gave me a role, some tasks. We organised stuff. We raised funds.
Eventually it grew on its own…
I was just one more signature that helped to establish a club in that little corner of the world back in the early 2000’s…
And, yes, it’s nice to see now, they’re still running. They’re still doing their stuff. It’s a good club. I’m happy they’re still keeping it going.
I feel very removed from it all now.
